This past weekend, Robert’s new lawyer went to visit him for the first time at Fort Sill, but was denied access to him, even though Robert is supposed to have unlimited access to his lawyer. We’re now waiting to hear why this occurred, and Robert is hoping he’ll be able to get another visit soon. It seems obvious, however, that the army is not willing to cooperate, and will make it very difficult for Robert to appeal. It’s also frustrating because his new lawyer has taken on the case free of charge, so driving out of his way only to be detained for a few hours and then turned away took valuable time away from the 70+ other cases he’s working on through DisposableWarriors.com.
